Colby had his first field trip to the Pumpkin Patch! It was so cute, the kids get to go on a big hay ride, they learn how a pumpkin grows and they get to take a pumpkin, and a few gourds home!! the best part was there was only Walt Disney kids there, so we got the hole place to ourselves!!
This is Colby’s class PLUS the afternoon class that is also taught by his teacher!
I got really worried because I couldn’t find Colby for a minute and he ran into the maze with one of his friends! He is getting so independent!
The corn is also a hit! I learned something new this year though, this corn is grown for this exact use! It is a much tougher corn so not many animals can eat it, so they grow it just to use it for recreational use! And it is grown out in the middle of the Delta!
Picking his pumpkin was a VERY hard decision! :) We had to find just the right one and every time we walk in/out of the front door he points out his pumpkin sitting on the porch!
I’m sure we will be back to the patch with Daddy before Halloween, Colby just loves going there!!!
