We headed down to Southern California last week for a little break! We had lots of fun at Newport, Huntington, Laguna Beach and of course Disneyland!
The Babcock’s sure don’t travel light! :) Or should I say Colby doesn’t…. Brent and I stayed at the Grand Californian hotel for a few nights when we went to Disneyland! We have always wanted to stay there but never have. Well we did it, and it was amazing…we will be back next year!! :)
I think we had Gelato 5 out of the 7 days we were there…Colby was in heaven!
A Park at Laguna Beach…perfect!
We stayed at the Marriot Newport Coast Villas and they had this huge fire pit! It was fun to sit there at night and make some smores!
The one awesome thing about September was the park was not very busy! Especially California Adventure! We walked on every ride we went on! So, when Colby went on the Merry-Go-Round, if the kids wanted to stay on the ride and go again they could…so we all patiently waited while Colby rode for about 10 times to get his Merry-Go-Round fix for the next year!!!
We made reservations to the Character breakfast before we knew how afraid Colby was of the characters!! But luckily, he loved the Princess’s and the food was AMAZING! As Brent said it was the best buffet he has ever eaten at! So, I highly recommend Goofy’s kitchen!
The characters knew Colby was afraid by his reaction so they would hide behind Brent and look at him, it was really cute!
Grandpa making one last attempt before we left!
Colby thought me sitting in his stroller was hilarious!!!!
One of Colby’s favorite rides was the bumper cars in the Bugs Life area of California Adventure! We rode those quite a few times also!
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse live~ And Colby was front and center, he loved it!
Waiting for the parade! Colby met some girls that shared there blanket with him. It was so cute.
Our view at the Grand Californian! Best hotel ever!!
He sure loved the characters….from a distance! :)
Can you pick out the crazies that went on Splash Mountain? haha
The Jungle Cruise was another favorite!!!
Shooting (fake) guns with Uncle Scott! Starting him young!
We had a great trip!!!
