C-A-B-O!

Only on vacation can you do THIS while Colby takes a nap….

Or order lunch by the pool…

 

Or have Daddy’s undivided attention where school books and patients don’t get between them!

Do our tan lines start to show….

And where I can eat a nutella and banana crepe all by  myself and not feel the least bit guilty!!

We just got back from a week in paradise!  Seriously, we had such a fun trip!  This has to be on the top of my list so far!  We stayed at a beautiful resort with lots of pools that was right on the beach!  Basically our day consisted of getting up and laying by the pool ALL day long until we got ready to go eat dinner!  Life could not have been any better last week!

 

One of the best parts was how Colby napped!  The one good thing about this guy is he sure is a trooper!  Once he got tired he just laid down and went to sleep on the pool chair each day!  It was a few hours of lounging for Mom and Dad!

Okay…this guy is a bit creepy, he made Colby a balloon and if you know Colby at all you know that he is really scared of people dressed up or anyone in a costume!  He would not take his eye off this guy!

 

 

At least we got a smile when he gave him the balloon!

  

Colby’s new favorite indulgence?  Otter Pops!  Mom loves them too!  Anytime we would get one out he would follow the person around whining until we gave him some, oh and he keeps coming back for more!  It’s a perfect afternoon treat that we share each and every day!

They had such big crashing waves in the evening, it was so fun to watch!

Colby was in heaven with the stairs at the resort!  He wanted to climb these all day long!

 

This is kind of funny!  This place opened up last year called Senior Sweets and it is this brand new AMAZING restaurant that has awesome food and ummm gelato that is to die for!  Even Colby couldn’t get enough of it!

 

Happy hour was another favorite time of day!  I think Colby sucked down more mango and strawberry smoothies than any of us!

Brent and I left Colby with my parents for a day while we went on a snorkeling tour! 

This picture makes me sad….Colby looks so stunning in his cute brown shoes that sure are not cheap!  We lost 1 shoe this night and have come to a conclusion that it is gone…..Colby loved these shoes and they will sure be missed!  Luckily, it’s summer and we can pull out the sandals!

  

 

 

We had such a fun week and will sure miss being in Cabo!  But coming home to real life is always nice too!  Until next year! :-)
